i may be a little slow on the uptick for this posting
however,
it's new to me so i'm going to share the awesomeness
when the think tank at kraft foods
came out with
mio
i was totally suckered in.
not because i didn't drink water or needed a reason
to drink water.
i just thought hmmmmm tasty sweet water goodness.
i've tried them all
watermelon
berry berry
fruit punch
tea
peach (nasty)
and i've come away with the same feeling every time.
meeeeeh.
so recently i decided why not add a little fruit
to the mix.
because when i order a seltzer water
i always ask for a lemon.
and i did
in grandioso fashion i might add

and i did
in grandioso fashion i might add
oranges and lemon
all you have to do is slice them up
squish them up
add ice
add water
refrigerate
and
boom!
you're done.
now i must admit i have made some fails.
one of the first ones i made was lemon lime.
nasty!
way to many limes and it came out extremely sour / tart / wicked gross
i also tried pineapple
it was ok, but really sweet
maybe a little less on the pineapple next time.
the big winner was
strawberry and cucumber
i'll make this again and i wish i had a picture it was so pretty
and really really goooooooood.
so before you go splashing your water with
processed crap
try adding a little sangria flair [minus the red wine and sugar]
your options are unlimited
musical inspiration here.
Do you love it when "Ican do that" really works?
