Sometimes plans just don't work to plan. I was supposed to go camping this weekend, unfortunately that fell right out the bottom. This is always disappointing to me because then I'm left to my own devices to come up with something new. I rarely have a plan B for these moments. Instead Geoff and I went to this place which is right down the road from us.

Wild Willy's is such a great place to get a yummy burger! Geoff had the Cowboy Special and I had the Annie Oakley which is a Bluecheese Burger. I love this place and the service is really fantastic.
Jim walked around the entire time we were there looking for empty tables and letting people know what was available as soon as you walked in. Meredith took our order and served up two colds ones right off the bat! If you are ever in York, ME I highly advise that you drop on in for a little grub. YUM YUM!
After that we took a drive around York trying to scout out an area to do a Sunday Morning workout. This consist of finding a good jungle gym that you can do chin-ups / pull ups and all sorts of stuff. Should be interesting when the snow flies!!
Saturday the lawn mower broke which forced me to mow my giant lawn with the push mower. I hate pushing a lawn mower. While I did that Geoff tried to figure out what was happening with our Smithsonian ready John Deer. In the end the lawn came out smashing and I was pooped. So, whilst having a beer on the deck I snapped a gazillion photos of myself trying to pose my head so that my double chin is not showing. [its hard to do when you have a pumpkin head like mine!]
then I got bored with that and started harassing "The Dude"
Later in the evening I grilled some pizza and we had our favorite neighbors come over for a little food, drinks and fire.
Greg - The Dude & Holly sitting by the fire.
Sunday rolled around and I made Crepes and home fries for Geoff. We scarfed those down and The Dude got the leftovers. I then got to thinking about grocery bags and how much I dislike the ones that they sell at the store. I also dislike how much they charge you for a pretty reusable grocery bag and decided to set out and see if I had enough talent and skill to make my own.
I'm determined to use the material that I already have before going out and buying anything new. Fabric shopping is addictive. There are SO many crazy pretty things that you just want a swatch of this, a yard of that and the next thing you know you have to much fabric with to little time. Here is my prototype grocery bag!!!
I know I know the squares don't match and if any "REAL" seamstress to a look at my sewing job they would look down their nose at me for sure! But I'm all about - HEY IT LOOKS LIKE A BAG-
I even tried to get creative and added a little border on the inside with some pieces that I got.
Don't mind the handles [besides you can't see that when your carrying it!]
I will be making more of these soon! I'll also be the envy of all grocery shoppers as the ohhh and ahhh over my pretty bags!!
That about sums it up - tomorrow is another work week and the countdown is on for vacation!
