Fall Decorating and Activities

Its been busy on the compound these last few months! I finally got the opportunity to go Blaisdell Brothers Family Farm which is right down the road from my house. What a great place this is! They have really pretty pumpkins, squashes and ghords to decorate for fall. They even have the added convienience of a little wheel barrel to help carry all your stuff around.

They have blues, greens, yellow amazing organge, small, medium, large all for a good price and it feels good to give my money to a local resource!

It was a beautiful day and I'm sad I missed all the sunflowers in bloom! But I gathered up all my goods to decorate and checked off the sizes I had on my handy little chart.

Then I brought everything home and got all Martha on myself arranging these beauties just so.

Doesn't that just look amazing!!!

Blaisdell Brothers Family Farm is located at 150 Southside Road in York, ME. If you still need to pick up a pumpkin or 2 or 5 or possibly 10!! You better hurry. The farm also has fresh chicken eggs, beef, sunflowers, hay, mulch hay, manure and farm services. Incase you're like me and you really love those fresh eggs.

How do you decorate for fall?

I also finished canning up some goodness! Not to shabby for a first timer. This year I did pickled apples, pickled green tomatoes, salsa and pepper jelly! The display is so pretty I may have to ask Geoff to build more shelves!! [don't worry sweets thats just a little joke ]

Ta-Da!!!!!

And lastly I plucked the remainder "HidetheRanger" flowers from the bush. Look out Martha Stewart I'm on to you!!
