I have done nothing in almost two weeks. I'm going out of my mind with total boredom. Tuesday allowed me a trip to the doctors where they prescribed a litany of drugs + x-rays to find out that I have a good case of pneumonia. Which isn't to surprising considering my office is currently festering with the bubonic plague. So, after several days of antibiotics, steroids and inhalers I do believe that I see light at the end of the tunnel.
Yesterday defined "puttering" around the house. You can't tell me to do nothing. Although I get in contact with my lazy self quite often I have determined that I'm not all that lazy. I can only take so many days of watching On-Demand movies which included but are not limited to: The Fighter [awesome movie], The Notebook, Made In Heaven, Jack-Ass 3D which made me laugh so hard I actually felt worse for watching it. I've played X-Box Tiger Woods Golf longer than I ever imagined I would but Geoff still kicks my butt. Can't he let me win just once.
I've sketched out garden plans for this year. Found the ends of the inter-webs and have realized that when you sit on Facebook for days on end people just are not updating fast enough. I need news people!!! I've started several types of pepper and tomato seeds and then catch myself just staring at those little pods as if I can actually see them grow. In fact I think I have. I've eaten more grilled cheese sandwiches that I may not poop for the rest of the year. I know...I know but when you hit a certain age these things start to matter.
I've taken my last antibiotic this morning. All of my appendages are crossed in hopes that this round will be successful and there is no relapse. Honestly if there is death is the better option. Dude hates me as I've not walked him in two weeks. I think he is plotting my exit strategy as I type this.
Spring is crawling into New England but I have high hopes that I'll be raking leaves and working outside soon enough. That's where I've been these last few weeks. Hopefully the blogging will continue on a happier and more upbeat note.
Until then......
