This past weekend I went to Boston with my Mom - We went on the Charlie Ride according to my Mom otherwise known as The T. It was a great day!
First stop was at Newbury Yarns of Boston and we got to meet Aldrich Robinson the owner of the store. What a lovely lady!!. If you are ever in Bean Town stop buy and visit she has beautiful beautiful things. So we each purchased a bundle of yarn and we were off to this store......
OMG! The most amazing products ever. We were treated to a glorious and I mean GLORIOUS!!!! hand scrubbing that left my hands so buttery smooth and fab that I couldn't stop rubbing them together. If any of you remember Organics multiply it by a thousand! I purchased a lemon lotion along with a soap called Sexy Peel which is just amazing. GO! to their web site or go to their store. I promise you will not regret it. And for all my guy readers out there in the universe. BUY your significant other something from this store. They will love you more....no doubt.
Speaking of beautiful things - As a tribute to Edie and Pats shopping and dining ~ LACROIX dahhhling LACROIX!!!
After all that excitement of buses, trains, walking and shopping we decided to cross all of Boston on foot to go to my sisters 5 star rated restaurant . Petit Robert Bistro which can only be said like Inspector Clouseau.
Now, because my fabulous sister was so excited about this place I did not want to ruin her joy by letting her know that I was not the biggest fan of LaFrahhhnch Cuisine. However, we had the Trio of Homemade Pate which was paired with a divine rhubarb conserves. I could have been happy with just that. But instead I ordered a BLT! How trashy American of me.
That was followed up with coffee and these three glorious deserts.

Then we headed on back to the Charlie Ride as we were stuffed and exhausted. The "T" ride was followed by nothing less than a stock pile of people on the 109 driven by an insane heavy foot crazy driver that had my mother convinced it could quite possibly be "THE END". I don't think I stopped laughing the entire way home. It was a SUPER good time and I can't wait to do it again.
