I'm no soccer mom or a hockey mom. But I will tell you that on some days when I get in the car to go to work, I actually breathe a heavy sigh. Not just a sigh, but full blown cheeks puffed out sigh. Below is my day M - F. And I wonder why I'm tired?
4:30 AM - Get up - Make Coffee - Put on several layers of clothing. Hat check, mittens check, wind pants check, dude blinky collar check, flash light to mame with check
4:50 AM - Head out to walk Oskar and Gus with Holly
6:00 AM - Feed Oskar, Make another cup of coffee, dishes, Put a load of laundry in, Fold clothes in dryer bring basket upstairs.
6:30 AM - Clean bathroom sink while simultaneously swishing mouth-wash.
7:00 AM - Put on face, dry hair and hope it does something pretty, try not to dress like a frump.
7:30 AM - Make another cup of coffee - grab lunch stuff and 5 dog cookies [ count them twice]. Walk Oskar over next door hand out cookies, tell them to be nice to each other. Give kisses and run back to car.
7:40 AM Drive to work and keep fingers crossed that I'm ahead of the school bus that stops 8 billion times down my road.
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM WORK
5:05 PM - This is where miscellaneous errands are done. This involves; groceries, wal-mart, bj's, getting gas etc.
6:30 PM - Arrive Home. Put stuff away, Switch over load of laundry, pull stuff out to make dinner.
7:00 PM - Cocktail time [mumma needs a little helper]
7:30 PM - Dinner / cooking dinner and chat with Geoff to break down the days events.
8:00 PM - Play time with Oskar who feels ignored and cruises the counters for his own groceries.
8:30 PM - Sit in giant chair thinking about what needs to be done by Friday [the goal is to always have everything done before Friday] Consist of getting vacuuming done, washing floors, writing notes for blogging, reading blogs for inspiration. Writing a list for a list
9:00 PM - Plan to watch TV, Make sure blog is set for the next day. FB to see what people are doing. Fall asleep in chair, go to bed.
9:30 PM - Attempt to read 1 chapter out of a book. Sometimes I succeed and sometimes I don't.
10:00 PM - Definitely in bed.
Should there be more? I actually "wonder" why I'm so tired by the end of the week?
