Dinner and Good Friends ~

Saturday evening we had the opportunity to spend some quality time with great friends. Getting together with Patty and James always makes me happy. Especially when we have not see each other in a few months. It is this whirlwind of talking, laughing, eating, drinking and of course ROCKBAND! Patty and James have my four children...Lily, Harrison, Violet and Jack. It is on a very rare occasion that we get to be grown ups together for a few short hours and we went for it full throttle. Although I must admit - I missed my kiddies being there. Seriously just look at how cute they are!!!

We refer to ourselves as Team Beer-Pike cause we are a force to be reckoned with and "We are idiots"

We had the opportunity to eat out at our favorite restaurant Mimo's on Long Sands in York Maine. If you're ever in the area and you want a great dinner this is the place to go. They do not serve alcohol but you can bring your own. Along with the Jug-O-Wine we brought with us I also found this little devil at the store the other day.

It made me laugh and it was packaged all girly like so I bought it for me and Patty. We sat down for dinner and talked the night away. Offending some and making others laugh. Trust me when "Team Beer-Pike" is together it can be overwhelming for others around us. We ate as if maybe this would be our last meal and headed back to the fort for a session of Rockband...For some reason when I play this game, I tend to loose perspective that I am not in fact singing on the stage of the Kodak Theater. Digging deep into the core to belt out all the notes. And the best part is...none of them care. At least I don't think they do....Do you??? I don't even sing this hard when I do Karaoke. It's a sickness. Yet it allows me to release the Diva hiding within!

It was a great time - went by to fast and as always, I'm looking forward to the next time we see them.
