Introducing....The Dude....

This is my little baby boy Oskar otherwise referred to as "The Dude". He is a dude. I don't think I have ever met a dog like him. So calm, relaxed and in general a whatever man attitude. This is one of many self portraits that we have taken together. He starts posing as soon as the camera comes out. He should have been a model. We've had many adventures together Hiking Mt. Major - Snowshoeing at Lonesome Lake and most importantly playing ball. He is truly the dog that will play non-stop no matter what the weather is. The Dude is the reason why I have to drag my sorry self out of bed at 4:30 AM every week day morning to go and walk the Fort. This makes you appreciate walking in day light on the weekends! He will be turning 4 in January. The dude and his maaahh go together like peas and carrots! You'll see more of him for sure! If any of you are dog parents out there I've included a recepie for Peanut Butter Doggy Cookies. He loves them and they are a lot cheaper then PetCo [where the pets go ] Give them a try and let me know what your puppy thinks!!

Dude Snacks
2 cups flour
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 cup peanut butter (chunky or smooth)
1 cup milk

Preheat oven to 375'F. In a bowl, combine flour, brown sugar and baking powder. In another bowl, mix peanut butter and milk, then add to dry ingredients and mix well. Place dough on a lightly floured surface and knead. Roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness and use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes. Bake for 20 minutes on a greased baking sheet until lightly brown. Cool on a rack, then store in an airtight container. Based on doggy consumption these can last about 2 weeks! Just enough time to make more!!
