I love Christmas - It is the most special time of year as I've mentioned below. However, this will be the first Christmas in 13 years that we will not be able to share with Schultz. The photo of Schultz and Oskar in front of the Christmas Tree is from 2008. The photo on the bottom is of Schultz coveting all of the Christmas Toys and declaring them "all his". He loved Christmas time and opening all the presents. Box's were his best. He would rip them open faster than any small child on Christmas morning. One year we buried cookies under all the gifts by the tree and he just sat there looking like a glazed doughnut. And then from the kitchen you would hear the very gentle sound of paper ripping. When we would go in to see what he was up to he would be sitting there like....what..I DIDN'T!! do it!! My other favorite Christmas torture was making him put on all these jingle bell collars. He would creep just so they wouldn't jingle in his ears. Then he would sit in front of you with a look of...."FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE!!! TAKE THESE THINGS OFF OF ME"!! I'm missing him very much during this Christmas season. It has been a learning, mourning and definitely a growing experience for me to say the least. But ENOUGH OF THIS SADDNESS!!! It's Christmas Time!Monday, December 14, 2009

an ounce of pretentious is worth a pound of manure.
