Chicken AND Dumplings

are you ready?
for the most amazing
easy
CROCKPOT
of scrumtasticness?
pay attention
this may be confusing.

CHICKEN & DUMPLINGS IN THE CROCK:

Ingredients:
  • 4 boneless chicken breast
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • bisquick
  • water
Directions:
  • place chicken breast in the crock [haha that sounds funny]
  • dice up your medium onion and place on top of the chicken
  • pour both cans of soup on top
  • cover with water [i sprinkled a little flour to thicken up the gravy]
i cooked mine on low heat when i left for work this sat for about 8.5 hours and was cooked perfect. the directions called to cook on high heat for 4 to 5 hours.
it also called for pre-made biscuit dough. i used bisquick and followed the drop biscuit recipe on the box.
  • 2 cups of bisquick
  • 2/3 cup of milk
mix together and drop by the spoon on top of the gravy. i also let this sit for almost an hour while doing other stuff around the house.

boom ya done! i literally wanted to lick the crock pot but it was to hot. this was good for two people with leftovers for lunch. if your cooking for a bigger crowd you can easily double up on the ingredients.
let me know if you try it and if you loved it as much as geoff, dudes and steve did!
