on june 9th i finished my first 10K race in 1 hour / 23 min.
it was excessively HOT
i nearly passed out
someone did pass out
dudes came to support me
and
got a new fancy collar
we went home and i sat in the shade for the rest of the day
i may have had a twinge of heat stroke
we smoked a chicken in the afternoon
i went to bed sore and woke up the next two days sore.
gotta fix that.
i am hiking mt. washington this coming july.
