I have officially been blogging for ONE full year. And what a year it has been! Christmas is once again around the corner and I find myself hesitant to get into the spirit as the past two years have been nothing short of a disaster. But with some wee little ray of sunshine I push forward to make my house as festive, sparkly and Christmastastic as it can possibly be with fingers crossed for a successful Christmas Season.
As I've plunged into the depths of blog land trying to figure out what to write about I have found out some very interesting things about my little spot in the blogesphere.
- I have readers all over the world! To all of YOU from ALL OVER! Thank you so much for reading my rants, raves and ever so brilliant, funny and hilarious musings of my skewed and twisted views.
- Thank you to ACORN ORGANIC SALON!! For showcasing my blog in your news letter and on your website. I love you girls XO.
- Thank you to my Sister [GeekxNerd] and my Mom [said-the-hobbit] who are faithful daily readers and continue to show support by adding a comment.
- Thank you to my grouping of followers of friends and family who check up on me through this site. I love that I can connect with you through this type of medium.
- And lastly - Holiday with Matthew Meade for posting up my blog on your site. Pure Awesomeness.
A year in review: Free Form Friday postings were a huge hit. Of all the post I have put up this year these were by far the most popular. From Equality and Feminism, The Love of Hair & Its Always About The Music.
It is also apparent that my writing even though it is atrocious with horrific grammar are the most popular post. So I will work diligently to come up with things a little more on the lines of THIS
Bloggy types that I keep tabs on don't really need me to post about them because their blogs are already notorious and global already.
When I was first introduced via blog research to this woman I was amazed, touched and truly inspired by the strength of the human spirit. The first post I read was about how she was trying to zip up her children's coats and the challenge this posed in such a simple task. I was terribly confused and had no idea what was going on. The more I dug the more I read and the more I found out. Last year at this time she was preparing for Christmas and a major surgery. I think that she is beyond fantastic with amazing style and really COOL shoes. Find out about Nie here.
My other favorite person to check in on mainly because they purchased a puppy last Christmas Eve named Kingsley who post quite often and makes me laugh out-loud! I'm convinced that my sister and her would be BFF's for sure if they were to ever meet. She's certainly a hip-chick who has amazing dresses you can read about KINGSLEY here
What will the NEW BLOG YEAR bring? A few things [ I hope ]
- I'm going to be updating the "COOKING DIVA" blog that I started but failed miserably at. I "really" am a great cook and would like to share some of the fantastic things that Geoff and I create. Besides, who doesn't love new foodie ideas?
- I also want to have a post about the AREA for happenings, giveaways and awesome things to do in these parts.
- We'll see what kind of writings we can cook up over the next year to keep you sane and entertained.
The DUDE - will post as often and when needed. I think his presence on this blog makes it more popular anyway. We had a long discussion about this but he said he didn't care and believes it is because he is so handsome. I can't really argue that.......
Again - thank you all for such a fun year! It has truly been very powerful and amazing!
PEACE!!

an ounce of pretentious is worth a pound of manure.
