Last hunting season I took some time to go out with Geoff, "The Dude" and Gusamus. It was a beautiful day. I knew at some point Geoff was going to do what he needed to do and thought that I was going to be strong enough for him. We spread some of Schultzy's ashes here. Geoff told a beautiful story of the last time he was there with Schultz, Mom and Dad. I totally melted. And for one brief little moment I just didn't know how I was going to make it to the next second. I couldn't move. I turned away from Geoff because I didn't want him to see me. When your face gets all squinchy and emotional.
And sometimes when it becomes to hard I have to think of other happy things... So here are some of my happy thoughts.
Halloween and the smokey bubble machine with the Beer Kiddies
Geoff and Jack with his onesy that says The Man ^ The Legend
Being allowed to see that smile on a birthday
Does it get any better than these guys???
