I'm BACK!!

Oh - So sorry for my absence! What a week it was last week! Work is crazy busy. Which is good because if it were not, then, that would be bad. We are working on getting the kitchen re-done. This is a project long over due. We painted it when we first moved in and swore that we would never attempt to do it again. Of course we decided to do this the week of Thanksgiving and we were in a mad mad rush to get it done. I'm pretty sure on Thanksgiving day the paint on the trim was still wet. But we've begun the process again and I will post some pictures later on. Right now its just messy!

So, an epiphany occured over the weekend as Geoff and I sat down to watch "The Big Lebowski" You need to have that off sense of humor. Hysterically funny. More so because the main character goes by "The Dude" which we all know is what I call Oskar. So when he came out with "The Dude abides" I nearly fell out of my chair. We are considering naming our next dog "Walter" but Steve is up for grabs as well. Not sure why Steve sounds so funny to us for a dogs name. Every time we say it we laugh.

A few weeks back as I mentioned we were without power. We had every candle we could find going and the house looked so romantic. Later that evening James dropped off the generator and we were saved!

We also made a trip to "The House of Blues" to see Pat Green. It was a FANTASTIC show! We were right up front and my ears were ringing for 3 days!

Also today is my brother Mikes birthday!! Happy Birthday NuNu we love you and hope you had a nice time at dinner last night!
