Top 5: Who R U Lookin At ?

Since the reinvention and reincarnation of my blogging - I have been reading a lot of different blogs. "TheUrbanHippee" died a political death of pure frustration and came back as herself. With her "real" name in the title and no more smoke and mirrors to hide behind. In the process of "coming back" to the blogging community I had to dig deep into what I wanted my blog to be. What were real people sharing out in cyberspace? Who and What kind of people were reading their blogs? It has been an eye opening experience to say the least. So I would like to share with you the group of blogger's that helped me define the type of blog I wanted to move forward with.
  • c jane enjoy it goes to the top of my list. I read her blog daily and I always find something that makes me laugh out-loud. She has an amazing sense of style, color and brightness. She also is not afraid to share what some may feel is over the top. But I really appreciate the fact that she does. She has inspired me to be truthful to who I am and not be false to people who may be reading my blog...[does anybody really read this blog?]
  • rock star diaries is a fun and romantic day in the life of a newlywed couple who just purchased their little bulldog Kingsley. Who I believe should have a blog of his own! Another stylish fashionista who has inspired me to be more colorful and take more pictures. And she made a totally amazing birthday cake in the shape of a hamburger that I absolutely want to try! She also has a lovely shop on Etsy selling headbands that are gorgeous. You can find them here.
  • geekxnerd this one goes without saying. This is my sisters blog. She has been blogging for years and years at this point and was my original inspiration for blogging when tealeavesxpotatoes was up. She is facinating, brilliant and extremely creative. So if you want to laugh - laugh really hard or sometimes cry or just looking for a little inspiration. I strongly recommend checking her out.
  • New Dress A Day this girl is hysterical and a crazy seamstress! Follow her on her 365 day mission to create a new outfit and not spend more than $365 dollars for the year. If you existed in the 80's she is sure to make you laugh.
  • The NieNie Dialogues This is the most inspirational blog I have set my eyes on. I will leave the story for you to discover. I knew nothing about her so I'm sure there are others who don't know her as well. She has absolutely given me an entirely different outlook. A sense of gratitude towards others that was lacking and the confirmation that "true" love can conquer anything....no matter what.
That's who I'm lookin at....Who are you lookin at?
